As an art teacher, I get all kinds of coursebooks, catalogs, and other neat freebies from art schools all over the country (and some outside it!) Today, I got a really interesting goodie package from the Art Institute of Cincinnati about a master’s program for art teachers, and for the first time really thought about persuing my master’s degree. It’s not that I really need the extra degree — I would get a raise, sure, but it’s never something I put a high priority on. But this program looks really do-able, and it’s mostly summer work. I could do this. And it would be awesome!
Who knows? Maybe some day…
